Johnson Lawson IV

Johnson Lawson IV is a certified personal trainer that has been working with fitness enthusiast in Omaha since 2006. He received his Bachelors in Sports Fitness in 2005 from Midland University in Fremont, Nebraska. Johnson has completed his person training certification with the National  Academy of Sports Medicine. He is also certified by the National Posture Institute. Johnson has been competing in natural bodybuilding since 2006 and won several contest. In 2014 he achieved his ultimate goal of become Mr. Natural Nebraska. Johnson currently resides in his hometown of Omaha, Nebraska with wife Jessica and their four children. He is one of the 4 great fitness professionals you’ll have a chance to work with here at Todd Smith Fitness.

Daniel Ripa

A lifelong resident of Omaha, Daniel Ripa prides himself as a devoted husband, father and as a dedicated and excellent personal trainer at Todd Smith Fitness. Dan has had a strong affinity to exercise and fitness, excelling in football and baseball at Creighton Prep High School. It was there that Dan worked closely with the strength coach, peaking his interest in weight lifting and motivating him to participate in the University of Nebraska at Omaha’s Exercise Science program, as well as personal training internships at local gyms. Dan furthered his training experience by assisting student-athletes during strength and conditioning seasons at Creighton Prep, while simultaneously managing a nutrition and supplement store in the Omaha area. Dan soon realized that his passion lay in assisting and motivating individuals to achieve their goals while enjoying their process. Coupled with his education and experience in nutrition and supplementation, Dan knew that with his fitness training and advice, success could be achieved with a complete diet and personalized plan. 


Dan found himself working with some old friends in a new location at Todd Smith Fitness. He chose to train under Todd, as he had more than 30 years of knowledge and industry experience to draw from. Dan advanced his education by becoming a certified Postural Specialist, which serves as a great tool in educating and assisting his clients in achieving their goals. 


Currently, Dan trains clients of all ages, working to correct muscles imbalances, posture and creating a great exercise routine that is sustainable in the long term, allowing them the opportunity to look their best, feel their best and be their best everyday. Whether your goal is to build muscle, burn fat or just get moving, Dan is a fantastic motivator and will be your biggest fan. He believes that fitness is truly a rewarding experience and looks forward to helping others achieve their health and fitness goals. 

Richie Briggs

Richie grew up in Norfolk Nebraska. As a kid, he loved to play football.  The importance of strength training became apparent when he worked his way from 4th string to a starter within a year.  After high school, his love for strength training directed him towards the sport of powerlifting.  Although he is not competitive anymore, he proudly continues to hold the highest bench press record in Nebraska’s state history; 865lbs.  


Richie began personal training in an effort to change his family history which included type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, obesity, and heart issues.  He  people avoid these common ailments through nutrition and exercise.  He desires to show people that they are stronger than they appear, both physically and mentally.  His goal is to help his clients improve themselves far beyond what they thought was possible.  He has had success changing the lives of many of his clients and hopes to continue his passion at Todd Smith Fitness.
